If you have previously used Maxforce® Platinum, remember that the average cockroach life cycle is three months. In plain language, this means that you should now use Maxforce® PRIME to break through the resistance that the cockroaches may have already developed.

Note: The average life cycle of a German cockroach is three months. It is recommended that products be rotated every three months to match this cycle.

This powerful and fast-acting gel provides excellent results and achieves maximum pest control within 6 days of application, although many die within 24 hours.

Maxforce® PRIME Cockroach Gel contains imidacloprid, which is so fast acting that it can kill cockroaches that have ingested it within an hour. This highly effective cockroach killer gel also works through a 'domino effect' - any remaining cockroaches are killed by secondary poisoning after they have fed on the carcasses of other members of their group.

Maxforce® PRIME is particularly suitable for the treatment of cockroaches in commercial kitchens (e.g. in restaurants, snack bars and food processing plants) as it is easy to apply, stays in place and withstands temperatures of up to 54 °C. The effect of the gel is long-lasting as it does not dry out and therefore remains palatable to cockroaches for an extended period of time. Other advantages of this excellent cockroach remedy are that no special preparation is required prior to application and that the user experiences minimal disruption as the room does not need to be cleared during or after treatment.

Each tube contains 30 g of cockroach gel and is sufficient to cover an area of up to 300 m2.

German cockroach

The German cockroach (Blatella germanica) is by far the most common species.
It grows on average between 12 and 15 millimeters long. They are usually found in warm, humid places. For example, under a refrigerator. If you see one cockroach of this species, you can assume that there are several. You can hardly see them during the day, if at all, because they are nocturnal animals that come out only when it is quiet and dark. Also, this species is known to be omnivorous. This means that it is not picky and will eat any kind of food. If you suffer from German cockroach, it is advisable to keep everything clean and dry and especially not to leave food lying around.

American cockroach

We see the American cockroach (Periplaneta americana) much less often than the German cockroach. This species is characterized by its relatively large appearance. It can grow between 3 and 5 centimeters in size, making it the largest species found in our country. The American cockroach also prefers a warm, humid environment, is active only at night, and, like its German brother, will eat almost anything. The American cockroach is also distinguished by its willingness to fly in high heat and humidity.

Brown banded cockroach

The brown banded cockroach (Supella longipalpa) is very similar to the German cockroach. It is about the same size, between one and one and a half centimeters long. It too prefers warm, humid environments. The main difference from the German cockroach is its yellow-brown color. In addition, the brown banded cockroach can also be found in less humid places.

Oriental cockroach

The Oriental cockroach (Blatta orientalis) is also found in our latitudes, but to a lesser extent than the German cockroach. This species grows between 2 and 3 centimeters long and is much darker in color. The Oriental cockroach resembles a beetle or cockroach. This species is found indoors, but can also be found outdoors. They are regularly found in landfills and dumpsters. Like all its conspecifics, the Oriental cockroach is mainly active at night.

APPLICATION NOTES

The application rate depends on the size of the infestation and the type of cockroaches found.
Apply Maxforce PRIME as dabs or thin strips to surfaces in specific target areas, it can be used in corners, cracks and crevices and cavities.

Maxforce PRIME is designed for use indoors to combat the:
- German cockroach (Blattella germanica)
- Brown banded cockroach (Supella longipalpa)
- Oriental cockroach (Blatta orientalis)
- American cockroach (Periplaneta americana)

* Maximum application rate of 3 x 0.1 g stains per square meter, with a maximum repeat application of 3 - 11 times per year per building.
Maximum quantities of:
- 60 x 0.1 g spots (i.e. 6 g bait) in a residential building;
- 270 x 0.1 g patches (i.e. 27.0 g bait) in a larger building should not be exceeded.
If higher amounts of bait are needed, use an indoor bait station.
General:
Do not apply directly to areas where food or feed is stored, prepared or consumed.
Use only in places inaccessible to children and animals.
Wash hands and uncovered skin before eating and after use.
Dangerous for bees.
Do not apply to surfaces that can be routinely wet cleaned.
Do not apply the product in areas where resistance to the active ingredient(s) is suspected or proven.
In case of renewed infestation, reapply the product without exceeding the maximum number of treatments allowed per year.

Before treatment, remove all other food sources for cockroaches (garbage, food scraps ...) from the infested area in order to
promote the absorption of the gel.
Do not apply the product to absorbent surfaces.
Do not expose the bait drops to sunlight or heat (e.g. radiators).
Avoid continuous application of the product.

More information:
An effect on the cockroach population can be expected very quickly, dead cockroaches can be found within 24 hours after treatment.
Maximum control is achieved between two weeks and several months after treatment, depending on the quantity of infestation and as long as the gel is present.
