Maxforce® Quantum Ant Gel 30g

Coverage of the entire nest is the main focus when using Maxforce® Quantum. The highly attractive syrup bait is quickly accepted as a food source by the worker ants and is introduced into the ant colony in sufficient quantities. The formulation is hydroscopic (does not dry out), does not form a surface film and can therefore be optimally absorbed by the ants. A delayed onset of action is essential for successful treatment to achieve a permanent solution to the problem (killing the queen and brood). A significant reduction in ant activity becomes visible after only a few days. The collapse of the entire colony usually follows after 2 - 3 weeks.
Maxforce Quantum is a ready-to-use insecticide bait for rapid control of a wide range of ants. The insecticide is particularly effective against the pharaoh ant (Monomorium pharaonis) and the black / garden ant (Lasius niger). Other ant species controlled by the bait are the ghost ant (Tapinoma melanocephalum) and the Argentine ant (Linepithema humile).

Application rates & dosage

A bait point with a diameter of 1 cm has a weight of 0.2 g.

Interior against pharaoh and black-headed ants:

  • 1 bait point per m²

Interior against black path ants:

  • 1 bait point per running meter of ant trail, but not more than 2 g per treatment.

Outdoor against black path ant:

  • Use 2 g of product per nest. If there are several nest openings, distribute this amount among the entrances.

Special safety instructions

  • Bait sites should be chosen so that children and pets do not have access and food and feed cannot come into contact with the bait.
  • The active substance is toxic to fish and fish food animals.


APPLICATION AREAS
Application is possible both indoors and outdoors, including sensitive areas such as hospitals or food establishments. Against pharaoh ants (Monomorium pharaonis), black-headed ants (Tapinoma melanocephalum), black way ants (Lasius niger), Argentine ants (Linepithema humile) and other species.

APPLICATION NOTES
Apply Maxforce® Quantum with an appropriate cartridge gun such as Bait Gun®. Before treatment, determine the degree of infestation and the infestation sites and place the bait points in close proximity to the ant trails. Apply bait to horizontal, non-absorbent surfaces. Do not apply other treatments such as sprays in baited areas, as these may contaminate the bait sites and the bait may no longer be accepted by the ants.
